Engineering Technician

NOW HIRING: Engineering Technician Level I Location: Tampa, FL 33626 Salary: Up to $75,000 Travel: Up to 25% TempExperts is recruiting for an Engineering Technician Level I to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing organization in the Tampa area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on, troubleshooting equipment, solving technical problems, and working with CNC machinery, robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing technology. What You’ll Be Doing: Set up and troubleshoot new and existing machinery and work cells Program CNC equipment to produce customer samples and acceptance parts Perform quality assurance testing on new machinery before customer delivery Train customers on equipment operation, programming, and maintenance Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment both in-house and at customer locations Repair and maintain equipment at customer sites as needed Create and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting guides Partner with Engineering and Production teams on process and product improvements Assist with the development of new products and industrial automation solutions What We’re Looking For: Degree, coursework, technical training, or certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field 1–3+ years of experience programming, troubleshooting, operating, or maintaining machinery Strong mechanical, electrical, and technical problem-solving skills Ability to read electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Experience with motion control systems, robotics, or Fanuc programming is a plus Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset Ability to work independently and creatively solve problems Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel up to 25% Why This Opportunity Stands Out: Competitive salary up to $75K Direct Hire opportunity with long-term career potential Hands-on exposure to robotics, CNC technology, automation, and advanced machinery Opportunity to expand your technical skills while working alongside experienced Engineering and Production teams Variety in your day, including programming, troubleshooting, testing, customer training, and problem-solving Opportunity to travel and work directly with customers at their facilities Innovative, collaborative environment with exposure to new product development and industrial automation If you enjoy figuring out how things work, working with sophisticated machinery, and want to continue building your career in engineering and automation, we’d love to connect.
