Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key qualifications and experience:
- Active Professional Educator License (PEL) required; please provide a current copy with your application.
- Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school-based setting.
- Ability to work in person, full time (approximately 33.25 hours weekly) for the entire school year, August 17, 2026 – May 27, 2027.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment for students with diverse needs.
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to meet student needs.
- Provide direct instruction and support for students in either a Life Skills Self-Contained or Instructional/Resource setting.
- Utilize effective teaching strategies adapted for each student.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
