Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Recent Experience in Specialty License: Registered Nurse License (State of Alabama or Compact License) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross Certification Must-Have: - 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg Telemetry - 18 months of experience may be considered under certain conditions Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse for a Trauma Surgical Unit. Nurses in this unit provide care for acute care trauma and surgical patients. The staff specializes in an interdisciplinary team approach tailored to each patient's needs. The nurse to patient ratio is 1:6, ensuring personalized attention for all patients. Collaboration with family practice physicians and surgical specialists is essential. Nurses will also assist with orthopedic and urology patient care. This role includes floating to other units as required. Weekend and holiday shifts are mandatory and scheduled as needed. The facility values teamwork and individualized patient care for illnesses, surgeries, and observations. Candidates are required to hold an associate degree in nursing.
