Social Media Specialist

We're looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Content Studio, the in-house team of editorial, content marketing, and creative experts behind our integrated programs. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making social content and knows how to reach the right audiences through organic and paid channels.

Working across multiple B2B client teams, you'll help shape how brands and executives show up on LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms. You'll create and publish posts, graphics, carousels, and short videos; manage paid campaigns; and work with design and video colleagues when a story calls for more ambitious production.

The right candidate can turn complex technology topics into compelling social content. They bring strong writing and visual instincts, the organizational skills to manage multiple client programs, and hands-on experience running paid social campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn.

LaunchSquad has a flexible, hybrid workplace with offices in San Francisco, New York, Boston, and Chicago. This position is also open to US-based remote employees.

Responsibilities

• Manage social content and publishing for multiple B2B clients, supporting brand and executive presence primarily on LinkedIn and X, with Instagram and other channels when they serve the strategy
• Work with client teams to determine what ideas and formats belong on each channel, how brands and executives should participate in conversations, and where paid distribution might help.
• Build and manage social content calendars that bring together the story, the visual approach, and the production plan for each post.
• Create and publish social content: write posts, develop graphics and carousels, and edit short videos using tools such as Canva and CapCut. Brief and coordinate with designers or video editors when a piece calls for more ambitious production.
• Work with Editorial leads and client teams to turn announcements, interviews, reports, events, and executive perspectives into social content that is accurate, on-message, and native to each platform.
• Monitor relevant conversations, engage on behalf of clients where appropriate, and advise brands and executives on when and how to participate.
• Plan and manage paid social campaigns, primarily on LinkedIn, to extend the reach of client content and campaigns. Build audiences, set budgets, test ad copy and creative, monitor results, and adjust what runs.
• Report on organic and paid performance, explain what is working to clients and internal teams, and use those findings to improve the next iteration of content.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on social media experience, including work with B2B brands or executives
• Experience planning and managing social content calendars, from ideation and creative production through publication and performance reporting
• Strong social copywriting skills, with examples across channels, audiences, and voices; long-form content writing experience is a plus
• Skilled at creating social graphics, carousels, and short videos using tools such as Canva and CapCut, with the ability to brief and manage designers or video editors when a project needs more extensive design or video production
• Strong storytelling instincts: can find the most compelling story in interviews, reports, events, and other source material, then shape it into social content
• Experience running paid social campaigns, particularly on LinkedIn, including audience setup, budget management, creative testing, reporting, and optimization
• Able to measure organic and paid social performance, report results to clients, and recommend next steps based on what you learn
• Proven ability to manage multiple, competing projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong editorial judgment and an eye for great visual storytelling
