divh2Trauma Coordinator/h2pCabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Trauma Coordinator to join our Emergency Department Team!/ppThe Trauma Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the care of patients who have experienced traumatic injuries. This role involves collaboration with various healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care, compliance with trauma protocols, and effective communication among the trauma team. The Trauma Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and developing the program with a high level of independent decision making in collaboration with the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)./ph3Major Job Duties Responsibilities/h3ulliPatient Management: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of trauma patients. Ensure trauma patients receive appropriate interventions in a timely manner./liliCoordination of Care: Serve as a liaison between trauma patients, families, healthcare providers. Collaborate with emergency department staff, surgeons, and other specialists to facilitate care./liliQuality Improvement: Participate in trauma performance improvement initiatives and data collection. Monitor patient outcomes and recommend improvements to protocols and procedures./liliEducation and Training: Provide education to staff and the community regarding trauma care and prevention. Train new staff on trauma protocols and best practices./liliRegulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national trauma regulations and standards. Prepare for and participate in trauma center verification processes./liliDocumentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
