Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. The role requires providing exceptional customer service, performing skilled specimen collections and serving as the face of the company. Work Schedule Mon‑Fri 6:30am–3:00pm, alternating Saturday rotation. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other requested analyses. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary and travel to additional sites when needed. Complete additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Preferred Qualifications 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Job Standards Only phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is accepted in lieu of work experience. PSTs may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
