Onsite 7-Day Block Schedule Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy
We are seeking a

Pediatric Epilepsy Neurologist (MD/DO)

for an onsite locum tenens opportunity in South Carolina. This opportunity offers a consistent Monday-to-Monday block schedule with a combination of onsite daytime coverage and nightly call.
JOB HIGHLIGHTS

Schedule:

Monday 8:00 AM - Monday 8:00 AM
Coverage:

24-hour coverage for 7-day blocks
Daytime:

Onsite coverage
Evenings/Nights:

Nightly call
Setting:

Inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy
Epilepsy Monitoring Unit:

Approximately 4-6 patients/week
Inpatient EEGs:

Approximately 8/day
Outpatient EEGs:

Approximately 10/day
Compensation:

Competitive flat 24-hour all-inclusive rate
RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide onsite Pediatric Epilepsy coverage during daytime hours
Cover the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU)
Read inpatient and outpatient EEGs
Provide nightly call coverage
Manage inpatient Pediatric Epilepsy needs throughout the coverage block
QUALIFICATIONS

MD or DO
Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist
Pediatric Epilepsy training and/or experience
Experience with EMU coverage
Proficient in interpreting inpatient and outpatient EEGs
Must have an active South Carolina medical license in hand or already scheduled to be issued
Ability to commit to Monday-to-Monday coverage blocks

$500 flat rate upon completion
Lodging:

Up to $150/night at an approved hotel
