Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism - Pituitary Faculty

Position Description The Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco is seeking to recruit up to two full-time faculty members at the Assistant HS Clinical Professor level. Applicants must hold an M.D. degree and be a board‑certified endocrinologist with established expertise in pituitary disease management. The role will contribute to the growth of the world‑class Pituitary Center of Excellence. Responsibilities Triage of referrals, communication, and co‑management of patients with referring providers across Northern California. Performing detailed and expert diagnostic workups and managing the care of complex pituitary patients before and after surgery. Heavily involved in teaching and disseminating knowledge in neuroendocrinology, especially to endocrinology fellows, neurosurgery and internal medicine residents. Optionally engaging in research, clinical informatics, program development, or other academic or clinical pursuits. Qualifications and Competencies Academic and clinical qualifications: M.D., board‑certified endocrinology, and expertise in pituitary diseases. Salary & Benefits Salary range: Minimum base salary $127,000–$164,700 at appointment; membership in the Health Sciences compensation plan for additional compensation.
