Position Description Position for faculty in the Division of Memory and Aging or Division of Cognitive Neuroscience, Department of Neurology, UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Health. Ranks: Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor across Adjunct, HS Clinical, Clinical X, and In Residence faculty series. Qualified candidates must possess a medical or doctoral degree and postdoctoral or post‑MD residency/fellowship training in their field. Preferred qualifications include California medical licensure, Board Certification in Neurology, and an established record of excellence in clinical care and/or research. Clinical appointees will have responsibilities in direct patient care, participate in clinical research or other creative endeavors, and provide didactic and informal teaching and supervision to students, residents, and fellows on clinical rounds. Non‑clinical appointees must conduct research and provide robust laboratory teaching and mentoring to graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and other laboratory staff. The Department values professionalism and P.R.I.D.E. principles: For positions at 51% effort or more, the UC salary scales set the minimum pay by rank and step. Minimum base salary range is $106,000–$344,400. For positions at 50% effort or less, salary range is $81,500–$246,000.
