Salary Range: $36 plus $8 shift differential for overnight

Summary: The Resident Services Nurse (Registered Nurse) plays a key role in supporting the Resident Services Director with the comprehensive execution, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services within the community.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee the Resident Services Department staff, including C.N.A.s (Resident Services Assistants).
• Aid in managing the medication program and assist residents with self-medication.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
• Communicate any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director/Resident Services Director.
• Assist in conducting resident assessments and developing service plans.
• Support clinical assessments and recertifications as per state regulations.
• Collaborate with the Resident Services Director in hiring and evaluating departmental performance.
• Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members.
• Attend scheduled in-service training sessions and team meetings.
• Help with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as required.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to associates in the Resident Services Department as necessary.
• Assist residents and families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Supervise RSA staff during the delivery of care.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

• Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
• Previous experience in assisted living or long-term care environments.
• Certification in Basic First Aid and CPR.
• A genuine passion for working with seniors.
