Key Qualifications:

• Active Ohio licensure as an SLP-CCC is mandatory
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably at the junior high level
• Familiarity with state and district requirements regarding speech-language services
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
• Design and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver targeted speech-language therapy to junior high students, adjusting methods to suit individual learning styles
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and communications with parents and staff
• Provide guidance, resources, and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies within the classroom setting
