Founded in Chicago 40 years ago as a Delicatessen, Levy now finds itself as a leading presence in the Food, Beverage, and Retail industry across 200 plus Entertainment, Sports, and Restaurant venues across the country.Job SummaryEssential Responsibilities:Receive incoming shipments, freight, packages, supplies, and equipment from carriers, vendors, exhibitors, and internal departments.Verify deliveries against bills of lading, purchase orders, delivery documents, or other receiving records.Inspect shipments for visible damage, shortages, or discrepancies and promptly report issues to the appropriate supervisor.Accurately record received items and maintain receiving logs and documentation.Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, and other material-handling equipment safely.Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers using appropriate equipment and procedures.Maintain an organized warehouse, receiving area, loading dock, and storage spaces.Follow established procedures for freight handling, storage, inventory control, and documentation.Coordinate with event operations, security, engineering, housekeeping, food and beverage, exhibitors, vendors, and other departments as needed.Assist with inventory counts and locating materials when requested.Ensure materials are stored securely and in accordance with facility requirements.Follow all OSHA, workplace safety, fire safety, and convention center policies and procedures.Maintain a clean and safe work environment and promptly report hazards or unsafe conditions.Properly label, stage, and organize incoming freight and materials for storage or delivery.Deliver freight, supplies, equipment, and materials to assigned event spaces, meeting rooms, offices, loading docks, or other areas of the facility.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Levy is a member of Compass Group USA.
