Job Summary Dominion Energy's Warren Co Power Station in Front Royal, VA is seeking a motivated Instrument Technician Intern to gain hands‑on experience supporting power station operations and maintenance activities. Working alongside experienced technicians, the intern will assist with the inspection, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of instrumentation used to monitor and control plant equipment. The intern will support preventative maintenance activities, collect and analyze data, participate in equipment inspections, and assist with projects related to instrumentation and control systems. This position provides valuable exposure to power generation equipment, plant operations, and industrial maintenance practices while developing technical and professional skills in a safe and team‑oriented environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn and apply technical concepts in an industrial environment. Basic analytical and problem‑solving skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn. Education Requirements Must be enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year school pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's Technology degree in the preferred areas of: Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology Electromechanical Technology Electronics Technology Instrumentation Technology Other comparable disciplines may be substituted for the disciplines listed above. Must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher. Must have an anticipated graduation date 2028 or 2029. What You'll Get Hourly Rate: $22.00 - $28.00 The hourly rate listed is the rate we anticipate paying for this position. If a range is listed, the actual hourly rate offered may vary based on factors such as the selected candidate’s degree type, academic major, and/or school classification (e.g., sophomore, junior, senior).
