Summary Samaritan Health Services has an opportunity for an Outpatient Psychiatry Physician Samaritan Health Services, a non-profit integrated health care delivery system, is seeking a full-time Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our team in Newport, OR. Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital, established in 1952, is home to a recently constructed 25-bed critical access hospital. Located in the coastal community of Newport, Oregon, we serveresidents and tourists of Depoe Bay, Newport, Toledo, Waldport and Yachats. Nestled between the Coast Range and the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean, Newport boasts some of the most breathtaking scenery on the central Oregon Coast with vast stretches of rugged cliffs, lush vegetation and sandy beaches. The temperate coastal climate allows for a variety of activities year-round, including hiking, whale watching, golfing, shopping, deep-sea fishing and surfing. Job Specifics Financial incentives include starting bonus, relocation and loan assistance funds Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; hybrid approach requires 1 day on-site weekly, with the option to work telehealth/remotely on additional days No overnight call! Full-time is 34 patient contact hours/week; the average volume is 10-12 patients/day Visit types include initial evaluations, medication consultation/management, and limited therapy Join a well-established, full-spectrum mental health program, with role based in Newport, OR.
