Role Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Boise, ID. The individual in this role will conduct comprehensive speech, language, and orofacial myofunctional assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to clients with a range of communication and orofacial myofunctional disorders. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with other clinical professionals to coordinate care, documenting treatment progress, and adjusting plans as needed to support optimal outcomes. The Speech-Language Pathologist will educate clients and families about diagnoses, treatment strategies, and home exercises, and participate in interdisciplinary case discussions to ensure integrated care. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records and supporting quality improvement initiatives within the practice.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree (Master’s or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Idaho.
- Certification or strong interest in orofacial myology and experience working with related disorders (e.g., swallowing, articulation, tongue thrust, airway-related concerns).
- Demonstrated skills in comprehensive evaluation, differential diagnosis, and development of individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and educating clients and families.
- Ability to maintain detailed, compliant clinical documentation and manage a full-time caseload in an on-site clinical setting.
- Commitment to patient-centered care, professional ethics, and ongoing continuing education in speech-language pathology and orofacial myology.
Compensation:
Sign-on bonus of $1,000
Pay ranging from $45-49 per hour, depending on experience and training
Schedule:
Days per week: 4-5
Option 1: 4 days per week with 9-hours per day totaling 36 hours per week
Option 2: 5 days per week with 8-hours per day totaling 40 hours per week
