Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing standardized tools and keen observational skills.
  • Craft tailored treatment strategies that cater to immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
  • Deliver focused and individualized speech therapy interventions targeting communication, language, fluency, vocal resonance, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Collaborate harmoniously with an interdisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families, to develop cohesive patient care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families, empowering them to support progress beyond clinical encounters.
  • Engage in periodic inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout the entire therapeutic process.
  • Maintain precise documentation that adheres to organizational guidelines and local regulations.
  • Commit to ongoing professional growth through education and collaboration with peers.
Education
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), pending ASHA certification.
Certifications
  • State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for all age groups, showcasing a solid understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing issues.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills for engaging with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

  • Proficiency in electronic medical records and documentation practices.
