About Client Client is a founder-owned commercial HVAC service company based in Southern California. Operating since 2003, the company has grown past $25M in revenue and supports commercial buildings across California, the Phoenix area, and the Salt Lake City area. It is independent and not backed by private equity, so decisions are made in-house by people who understand the trade. The company promotes from within and invests in training for its technicians, sales reps, and leaders. It is now pursuing a goal of $100M in revenue. Job Summary The General Manager will lead the next stage of growth and report directly to the Founder and CEO. This is a full-time, on-site role in Corona, CA, overseeing the sales organization and all operations leaders across service, maintenance, retrofit, project management, field training, and quality. You will be accountable for revenue growth and margin performance in three existing markets and help launch new ones. Accounting is handled by ownership, so your time goes to sales, operations, and developing leaders. The role offers a defined path to a larger executive position as the company expands to multiple locations. What We Offer Base salary of $150,000 to $200,000, depending on experience Commission tied to revenue growth, gross margin, and net profit, so your pay grows with the business Full Health Benefits Company Vehicle A defined path to a bigger executive role as new markets open A seat alongside a founder-owner, with no investor group or outside board between you and the decisions A direct reporting line to the Founder and CEO, with accounting handled by ownership so you can focus on growth A culture built on promoting from within and developing people at every level Essential Duties & Responsibilities Lead the sales team and all operations managers across service, maintenance, retrofit, project management, field training, and quality Own revenue growth and profitability across California, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City Plan and execute the launch of new markets as the company expands Chair the weekly leadership meeting and keep every leader on track against their scorecard Protect gross margin on every line of work, with all field costs fully accounted for Build and manage the sales pipeline to support the path to $100M in revenue Coach, develop, and promote talent from within, from entry-level business development reps to senior leaders Partner with the Founder and CEO on strategy and company-wide priorities Set clear goals and metrics for each department and make sure each has an accountable owner Model the company’s values of integrity, trust, and continuous improvement across all teams and locations Qualifications Proven experience running a commercial HVAC service company or division with full P&L responsibility Deep, hands-on knowledge of commercial service, maintenance, and retrofit work Track record of leading managers and department heads, not just individual contributors Demonstrated success building sales teams and pipeline from the ground up Strong command of loaded gross margin and a history of managing to it Experience leading teams across multiple states or locations, or the readiness to do so Comfort working from scorecards, weekly cadences, and clear accountability A builder's mindset, with a desire to be measured on growth A commitment to developing and promoting the people around you Ability to work on-site full-time in Corona, CA, with a reputation for following through on commitments We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr The Worksphere
