508 Compliance Specialist (Fully Remote)
Health Services Advisory Group
- Responsible for formatting, reviewing, and performing Section 508 compliance on reports, analyses, and studies.
- Works with teams to ensure all Information and Communications Technology is accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Fix and format PDFs, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint files, and multimedia to comply with Section 508 and WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level A and AA standards.
- Test user interfaces using screen readers and keyboard-only navigation.
- Coordinate internal workflows, track project progress, and meet quick turnaround deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Section 508 compliance and document remediation is required.
- Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, particularly Word and SharePoint; proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Remote position with a growing healthcare quality improvement team.
- May require extended hours to meet project deadlines.
