Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with NICU specialization to provide expert care in a Level 1B Neonatal Intensive Care setting. The nurse will support late preterm and newborn patients with unique care requirements, utilizing advanced technology and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer neonatal care following established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and interpret cardiopulmonary and other vital signs to ensure patient stability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Utilize advanced NICU equipment such as LED phototherapy lights, radiant warmers, and ventilatory support devices.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, safety, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience in a Level 1B or higher setting.
• Possess current Massachusetts RN license uploaded with profile.
• Hold active BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.
• Demonstrate experience with Meditech Expanse and ESC (Eat, Sleep, Console) models.
• Have experience managing infants with respiratory support needs and blood sugar stabilization.
• Own reliable transportation and include current address in profile.
