Planner-Scheduler III

Mid‑level Planner‑Scheduler – Project Controls Team Responsibilities Create, develop, and maintain detailed resource‑loaded schedules, considering industry best practices, performance work statements (PWSs), technical proposals, work breakdown structures (WBSs), and directions from senior project managers and technical leads. Create, develop, and maintain schedule baselines. Work with all stakeholders to collect progress and performance updates and keep schedules up to date. Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, near‑critical path activity assessment, what‑if scenarios/analysis, schedule variances, etc., and create related reports as directed. Perform schedule health‑checks/audits considering industry best practices and policies (e.g., DCMA 14‑Point Assessment, GAO) and internal evaluation criteria/scorecards. Perform schedule impact analysis to support risk, issue, and change management processes. Support proposal‑related efforts, including WBS and schedule development, cost and resource analysis, and projections. Conduct schedule management trainings and brief schedule management analysis as needed. Maintain professional demeanor and behavior in all forms of communication. Lead the execution of core tasks without close supervision, exercising independent judgment. Provide feedback and guidance to junior team members on core tasks. Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in management, business, engineering, or science (or equivalent based on at least four years of relevant work experience). Five or more years of experience in schedule management, project management, or related industry roles. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies, processes, and policies. Experience utilizing industry best practices for scheduling management and schedule health‑check/audit processes. Preferred Qualifications Experience using scheduling management software such as Primavera P6. Experience working in nuclear, commercial construction, federal defense, and/or federal energy industries. Location & Schedule Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD. Work schedule: 5 days a week in office. Travel: up to 10% as needed. Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Compensation Salary range: $125,000 – $155,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
