LENGTH OF CONTRACT:

(Hourly) Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED

2. Must be at least 18 years of age

3. Must complete required district safety training prior to starting
4. Possesses acceptable verbal and written communication skills

5. Any alternatives to the above qualifications as the School Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR:

Elementary School Administration

JOB SUMMARY:

To assist in supervising students during all Elementary School lunch shifts. To assist in providing a safe, efficient, well-organized cafeteria environment for all students.


PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Ensures a safe environment for all students
2. Provides direct supervision of all students in the school cafeteria
3. Monitors the interior of the cafeteria to guarantee a clean and sanitary environment for students (Ex. Assist in wiping tables between classes)
4. Develops a cooperative working relationship with school personnel
5. Assists in communication of student needs to appropriate school staff member
6. Collaborates with school administrators, teachers, and school staff in student cafeteria seating assignments
7. Exhibits appropriate role modeling through language, dress, and hygiene at all times (See Staff Dress Code - AR GBERA-R )
8. Enforces all school regulations
9. Completes all required safety trainings
10. Exhibits professionalism in dealing with school-officials, students, and parents
11. Inspects cafeteria after completion of each lunch shift for children, and inspects for items left behind for lost and found
12. Performs all other duties as assigned by the School Administration
