Manufacturing Engineer - North Ridgeville and Strongsville openings

Location: Ohio-Strongsville, 21819 Royalton Road, Strongsville, OH 44149, USA Responsibilities Provide daily manufacturing engineering support to production, including troubleshooting of process, quality, and equipment issues Develop, implement, and sustain manufacturing processes and standard work for metal fabrication and assembly operations Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as process flows, PFMEAs, control plans, work instructions, and setup sheets Support new product introductions, design for manufacturability reviews, and feasibility assessments Lead or support root cause and corrective action activities to address production and quality issues Support sample builds, process trials, and engineering changes to validate and improve manufacturing processes Assist with capacity analysis, costing, and support of capital equipment projects Improve manufacturing layouts, material flow, ergonomics, tooling, and fixtures Collaborate cross-functionally to support training, knowledge transfer, and continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline Experience in a manufacturing environment supporting metal fabrication or assembly processes Working knowledge of metalworking processes and materials Proficiency with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks Bachelors or better in Manufacturing Engineering Technology or related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with punching, forming, welding, tube bending, tube expansion, and sheet metal fabrication Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, ERP systems (QAD preferred), and root cause methodologies Experience supporting capital equipment projects and lean manufacturing initiatives Familiarity with gas combustion products, heat exchangers, or similar thermal/mechanical systems 5 years Manufacturing Engineering experience Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
