Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Job Title Manufacturing Quality Engineer Overview / Summary We are seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to apply engineering principles and analytical techniques to establish, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing processes and products. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams including production team members, supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to support process compliance, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. Key Responsibilities Support compliance with quality operating systems and quality process requirements. Update and maintain process control documentation and process risk assessment documentation. Maintain engineering and quality-related documentation and records. Support department process updates and documentation requirements. Assist with measurement system compliance activities and quality documentation management. Conduct periodic reviews of process control plans and quality-related observations. Provide summaries and follow-up actions related to performance improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Support change management activities and associated documentation updates. Maintain quality health metrics and reporting. Collaborate with process engineering teams to develop and implement corrective actions and improvement plans. Coach and support both salaried and hourly team members on quality and process-related requirements. Work with multiple departments to ensure adherence to plant quality guidelines and established processes. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using innovative solutions and a customer-focused mindset. Communicate effectively with team members, leaders, business partners, and customers. Required Qualifications High School Diploma. Minimum 2 years of experience in Manufacturing or Quality. Knowledge of manufacturing processes. Understanding of quality assurance concepts and standards. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement. Strong technical and professional skills with the ability to ensure process compliance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Experience in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience with Microsoft applications. Manufacturing experience.
