Senior Product Manager, Patient Marketing

US Senior Product ManagerOpportunity awaits those up to the challenge of developing transformative therapies across a broad range of debilitating diseases.The US Senior Product Manager leads the creation and execution of patient-centric brand strategies, omnichannel engagement campaigns, and educational resources and will work closely with the US Patient Brand Lead to ensure initiatives are closely tied to the brand strategy. This role requires cross functional leadership across multiple internal functional areas to develop and execute the operational plan and tactics.Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the development of personal and non-personal tactics, including but not limited to patient programs, co-development of content with patient ambassadors, live events on social media, social media content, digital assets, media planning and print.Playing a key role in driving US Brand Planning – inclusive of defining stakeholder strategies - and budget developmentHelping define and execute the vision and plan for US marketing. Manage multiple agencies in the execution of that plan.Developing field execution strategy for patient-facing initiatives in partnership with training and sales leadership and patient services leadershipDeveloping a multi-channel/digital strategy and measurement planDevelop the overall tactical measurement plan and develop courses of action based on these metricsSupporting POA strategy and executionEfficiently and thoughtfully administering the US marketing budgetWorking closely with regulatory, legal, and complianceEducation & Experience:Bachelor's degree required5+ years of biotech/pharma marketing experienceEye care experience a plusExperience in sales or customer-facing rolesKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Passion for understanding and championing the needs of people treating, and living with diseases, translating them into market-moving insightsProficiency or comfort with high science data and demonstrated ability to convert into promotional messagingAbility to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, managing through ambiguityCommitment to collaboration and engagement, with a history of success leading in a matrix environment and with agency partnersAn entrepreneurial spirit coupled with the drive to embrace innovation and develop creative but well-reasoned solutions to business challengesDemonstrated integrity on the job, including an understanding of relevant rules and regulationsStrong communication skills with the ability to influence across functions and varying levels of the organizationProficiency in VeevaWilling to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and attend events outside of business hours (e.g., occasional weekends and evenings)Travel Requirements:Willing to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and attend events outside of business hours (e.g., occasional weekends and evenings)Education:Bachelor's DegreePay Information:Base salary for this role will consider multiple factors, including but not limited to, candidate qualifications, relevant expertise, specialized skills, and industry experience in complement-targeted therapies. The targeted base salary range for this position is $147,000-$196,000. This range represents the base salary only and reflects Apellis' commitment to competitive compensation within the biopharmaceutical industry.
