Licensed Occupational Therapist

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, part of the Stellar Living family, is seeking a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care within our healthcare and medical services department. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to evaluate residents’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions that promote independence, safety, and an improved quality of life. You will conduct thorough assessments of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs; establish measurable goals in collaboration with residents, families, and care teams; and provide therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and training in the use of assistive devices to support daily living skills. You will document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory and facility standards, contribute to care conferences, and educate residents and caregivers on home exercise programs, compensatory strategies, and environmental modifications.
