Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed physical examinations and medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-centered surgical treatment strategies
• Provide valuable intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, ensuring appropriate patient positioning, and adeptly managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver exemplary pre- and post-operative care, which includes medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Educational Credentials

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Prior completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Required Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification mandatory
• Must possess state licensure (or be eligible) as a Physician Assistant
