This is a hands-on leadership role that requires active involvement in daily operations, team development, quality control and project management. The ideal candidate is an organized leader who leads by example, holds the team accountable, communicates effectively and takes pride in creating an exceptional environment for members & guests.For over 100 years Monterey Peninsula Country Club has catered to a diverse Membership of more than 1,100 Members. We provide dining in five outlets amongst the Club House, Golf House, and two 18-hole golf courses.As a Housekeeping Supervisor at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, we will ask you to:Work alongside team members during daily operations and high-volume events to ensure standards are consistently met.Perform routine inspections of all Club facilities ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness, organization and presentation.Establish and maintain detailed cleaning schedules, inspection programs and quality control procedures.Monitor daily housekeeping rounds and ensure completion of assigned tasks.Respond quickly to operational challenges and Member concerns.Maintain high standards of sanitation, appearance and safety throughout the property and ensure compliance with all safety regulations, chemical handling procedures and company policies.Manage housekeeping supplies, equipment, and chemical inventories; ensure proper care, maintenance, and timely replacement of equipment.Develop and communicate daily work assignments, project schedules, and departmental priorities while maintaining clear communication with leadership, department managers, and team members.Track project completion, preventative maintenance programs, and special assignments; coordinate housekeeping support for events and prepare reports on staffing, inspections, inventories, and operational performance.Lead, coach and develop housekeeping team members through daily engagement, training and performance feedback.What we will need from you:Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.Strong organizational, planning and project management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A valid driver license and a clean motor vehicle record.Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards and safety regulations.Must be able to work independently.What we will provide you:An excellent benefits package that includes free healthcare for full-time employees.Pay that rewards you for great performance,A beautiful place to work where the members treat you like family.The ability to play golf on our world class golf courses.A work environment that is not subject to tourism or significant seasonal downturns.We hope this all sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for.
