Production Operator - 1st Shift

Job Full Description

A graphite manufacturer in Bedford Park is in need on production workers for their First shift.

Location: Bedford Park, IL (near 65th & Cicero)

Shift: must be available to rotate shifts every 4 months.

1st - 7:00am- 3:00pm

2nd - 3:00pm - 11:00pm

3rd - 11:00pm - 7:00am
Monday-Friday

Job Details :

Bag & palletize finished graphite according to bag type and weight
Shrink wrap bags of Graphite
Load trucks, railroad cars and containers with finished product
Some may require handling and stacking
Maintains and rebuilds furnaces for production runs
Assists in installing, removing, and maintaining equipment and buildings.
Completes routine housekeeping tasks
May handle raw material or product manually under break down conditions

Requirements:

Must be able to rotate between 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift every 4 months
Must have your own transportation - not bus accessible 24/7.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
Must pass Background Check
Must pass Drug Testing
Must be able to wear a mask the entire shift
Cannot have a beard due to mask requirement
Basic computer skills helpful
Spanish a plus
