Essential Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and delegated patient care, recognizing normal and abnormal health indicators to identify at-risk patients. Provide care aligned with established standards and guidelines, respond to phone inquiries with appropriate triage, and offer reassurance and clear patient education.
• Facilitate smooth healthcare delivery throughout patient visits by ensuring medical records are accurate and up to date. Prepare patients for examinations by collecting vital signs, medical history, and chief complaints. Monitor patients for abnormal symptoms, communicate findings to physicians, and document thoroughly. Confirm patient understanding of physician instructions upon discharge and accurately enter billing information into electronic records.
• Support physicians during testing and treatment procedures, including applying splints and dressings. Manage medication samples and logs, coordinate necessary testing or admissions, and obtain referrals as needed. Assist with minor surgeries and physical exams, securing consents for invasive procedures or immunizations. Distribute educational materials and ensure patients comprehend treatment and medication instructions. Perform prescribed lab tests and maintain laboratory logs.
• Maintain clinical areas by stocking supplies, organizing patient education materials, and ensuring exam rooms are clean and orderly following protocols. Sterilize instruments and verify equipment functionality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to the dynamic clinical environment.

Education: Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Program is required. Experience: Previous clinical experience preferred but not mandatory. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Location: Serving patients in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States.
