Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students across multiple campuses in the greater San Antonio, TX area. Your expertise as an audiologist will make a measurable impact for kids from preschool through high school, providing vital audiology services within a supportive educational environment. With Mission Academy as your primary base, you’ll collaborate closely with district coordinators and itinerant teachers to deliver comprehensive hearing assessments, fittings, and troubleshooting—ensuring students have the support they need to succeed.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Minimum of 5 years of audiology experience in school settings or equivalent
• ASHA Certification (waiver available for select individuals)
• State licensure required for both fitting/repairing hearing aids and practicing audiology
• Successful completion of exam as mandated by state guidelines
• Current fingerprinting/background check
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to serving diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing evaluations and assessments for students PK – 12 across approximately 50 identified cases districtwide
• Provide fitting and ongoing maintenance/repair of hearing aids
• Collaborate with DHH Coordinators and teachers to schedule districtwide troubleshooting sessions as needed
• Maintain documentation and compliance with all school and state requirements
• Support students’ educational access, ensuring inclusive learning environments
