About the Role:As a Discipline Engineer - Systems Design, you will:BudgetBudget Awareness: Demonstrate awareness of project budgets and strive to optimize resource utilization within their scope of work.Support operations:Technical Solution Execution: Execute technical solutions for engineering tasks within defined projects, focusing on Newness levels 1-2 (fully applied or design based on existing rules).Problem Solving Support: Actively participate in problem-solving initiatives under the guidance of senior engineers, applying Valeo standard methodologies like QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control) to analyze issues and contribute to solution finding.Technical Documentation: Prepare clear and concise technical documentation, including reports, specifications, and presentations, to effectively communicate their work.Competencies:Technical Development: Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge within the Discipline, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.Technical Coaching: Provide technical guidance and support to Discipline Junior Engineers, fostering their onboarding and skill development.Design Standard Application: Apply existing design standards effectively in their work, ensuring alignment with Valeo's guidelines and best practices.Efficiency:Digitalization Roadmap Adoption: Actively adopt and utilize digital tools and processes outlined in the Discipline's Digitalization Roadmap to enhance efficiency and productivity.Continuous Improvement Contribution: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for optimization within their scope of work and suggesting improvements to existing processes.Innovation:Innovative Thinking: Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and contribute innovative ideas to enhance existing solutions or develop new approaches.Intellectual Property Awareness: Develop an understanding of intellectual property protection and contribute to the identification of potentially patentable inventions.Collaboration and Influence:Effective Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders within the team, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other engineers and team members to achieve project objectives and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.What You Should Have:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required3-5+ years of experience in related fields.Experience with features associated with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) preferred Join us!Thanks to its strategy focused on innovation, Valeo aims at reducing CO² emissions and developing intuitive driving to propose greener, safer, and smarter mobility.
