- Regional Service Leader EuropeThe Regional Service Leader Europe is responsible for driving the performance, growth, and operational excellence of the service business across the region. The role connects local service teams with global strategy, ensuring alignment on processes, portfolio, and commercial priorities.The position focuses on improving service revenue, strengthening service profitability, and enhancing customer experience by enabling local markets and service teams through structure, tools, and best practices.This is a cross-functional role without direct line management, requiring strong influencing skills and close collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.* **Full-time****Location:** You can work from any BUCHI office either in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, UK or Benelux**What You Will Do*** Own and grow service revenue across Europe in partnership with General Managers and local service leaders.* Identify regional and cluster-specific growth opportunities through market and portfolio analysis.* Initiate and steer regional service commercial initiatives (up-selling, cross-selling, renewals).* Coordinate regional service marketing activities aligned with global and local strategies.* Drive harmonization and continuous improvement of regional service processes aligned with global standards.* Act as regional sparring partner for CRM excellence, defining priorities and shaping business cases for improvement.* Establish and scale remote Regional Support Centers.* Align and standardize service offerings across Europe to ensure consistency, scalability, and competitiveness.* Support the transition from legacy services to next-generation, value-added offerings.* Define and evolve the regional distributor service portfolio, ensuring clear value propositions and execution readiness.* Partner with Global Service to define requirements for service CPQ, pricing, and quotation tools.* Define meaningful KPIs and dashboards that enable fact-based decision-making.* Support General Managers in understanding, benchmarking, and improving service P&L performance.* Identify capability gaps and regional training needs across Europe.* Design scalable support models (e.g. 2nd-level support, shared expertise hubs).* Coach and enable local service leaders and field teams—through influence, not hierarchy.* Promote a customer-focused, performance-oriented service culture across the region.**What Is Your Background*** 7+ years’ experience in service, aftersales, or field operations, ideally in laboratory, scientific, or technical instrumentation.* Proven success growing and steering a service business in a matrix and multi-country environment.* Strong commercial acumen with solid understanding of service P&L, pricing, and portfolio economics.* Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.* Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and data-driven performance management.* Structured, analytical thinker with the ability to turn insight into pragmatic actions.* Confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior regional and global stakeholders.* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.* Fluent in English; additional European languages highly valued.* Willingness to travel ~30% across Europe.**What We Offer*** Competitive compensation* Company car* High-visibility regional role with real business ownership* International, collaborative environment with flat hierarchiesWe look forward to hearing from you.
