Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist Certification
• Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and educators
• Ability to assess students, develop intervention strategies, and participate in IEP processes
• Commitment to ethical practices and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Support students’ academic and social-emotional development through targeted interventions
• Participate as a key member of multidisciplinary education teams, contributing expertise to IEP meetings
• Provide individual and group counseling
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to recommend effective strategies and supports
• Respond to crisis situations with professionalism and care
• Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
