Job Title

Registered Nurse – ECMO Specialist (CVICU)

Columbia, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an ECMO Specialist RN with primary responsibility for circuit management
• Provide direct patient care in a CVICU/ICU setting
• Float to CICU/CVICU units as needed based on census demands
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient care coordination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure (ECMO Specialist RN only; Respiratory Therapy and Perfusion ECMO Specialists are not being considered)
• Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist experience with circuit management
• Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of CVICU or ICU experience
• CES-A or E-AEC certification preferred
• LVAD experience preferred
