Cooks WantedNational Star Services, a trusted facility management company with over 28 years of nationwide success, is currently hiring Cooks for our location in Des Plaines, IL 60018.Responsibilities:Prepare and cook food in large quantities following standardized recipesEnsure food quality, presentation, and portion standards are metMaintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirementsSafely operate commercial kitchen equipmentAssist with inventory management and waste reduction effortsKeep workstations clean, organized, and production-readyWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goalsSchedule:Days: Monday through Sunday(Two days off per week; schedule provided by supervisor)1st Shift: 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PMHourly Pay: $18.55/hr. (BIWEEKLY PAY)Requirements:Two valid forms of ID.Bilingual (English & Spanish)Previous cooking experience requiredMust have and wear slip-resistant shoesReliable transportation to get to and from workAbility to work in a fast-paced kitchen environmentAvailable to start working immediately**Depending on the volume of interests and submissions, we will only be contacting applicants who meet all of the minimum requirements listed in the job description.
