Medical Lab Technician (MLT) - Night Shift

Schedule

This position requires a night shift from 09:00 PM to 07:30 AM, with every other weekend required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Medical Lab Technician (MLT) plays a critical role in the health care team by performing laboratory tests and procedures that are vital for diagnosis and treatment. The MLT will work under the supervision of a laboratory manager and will ensure the accuracy and quality of test results.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and analyzes specimens as directed.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Document all results in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure a safe and clean laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current MLT certification or equivalent.
• Completion of relevant educational programs in laboratory science.
• Proven experience in a laboratory setting preferred.
• Required health immunizations and credential verifications.
