Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-following established procedures to guarantee reliable results.
• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot and resolve any discrepancies, and ensure laboratory equipment undergoes regular maintenance and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and appropriately prepare samples for various diagnostic tests.
• Keep comprehensive documentation of all laboratory activities, aid in training new recruits, and uphold our commitment to quality standards.
• Foster a safe and orderly work environment while complying with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree; eligibility to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Acquisition of ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your tenure.
