Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions, group counseling, and family therapy, tailoring approaches to fit the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in evidence-based practices with children and families who meet the DSM V criteria for mental health interventions.

• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups and workshops, including parenting classes and support groups, tailored to assist clients in addressing specific challenges.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes while adhering to HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in care coordination efforts, collaborating with other healthcare providers and community resources to optimize client care.

• Meet billing and operational goals by completing required documentation and case materials promptly and efficiently.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Steadfast Support Clinic, you will work with a diverse population of children and families facing various mental health challenges. The role focuses on helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, trauma, and relationship difficulties. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid license to practice in Pennsylvania as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A self-motivated approach with a proactive attitude toward achieving documentation and billing objectives.

Preferred Experience\n

We require candidates to have a minimum of two years of clinical experience in the mental health field. Experience with family and child counseling, as well as familiarity with community-based resources, is highly valued. Additional training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a plus and will set candidates apart in the selection process.
