Now Hiring: School-Based Occupational Therapist Cross Country Education is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students across two middle schools in Arlington Heights, IL . This is a full-time opportunity with a consistent school-day schedule and the opportunity to collaborate with a strong multidisciplinary team. Location: Arlington Heights, IL Position: Occupational Therapist Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–3:15 PM Hours: 35 hours/week Pay: $53–60+/hr based on experience (W-2) Setting: School-Based Key Responsibilities Provide occupational therapy services to students in a middle school setting. Collaborate with a team of occupational therapists and school staff to support student needs. Provide initial and ongoing occupational therapy interventions . Develop and implement individualized treatment strategies based on student needs. Support students' participation and success within the school environment. Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, and multidisciplinary teams. Support IEP development and implementation as appropriate. Consult with school teams to promote generalization of skills across settings. Document services, student progress, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner. Requirements Illinois Occupational Therapist license – REQUIRED Master's degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Experience providing occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team. Why This Role?
