Markdom is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations within a fast-paced Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting plant operations, employees, and management across multiple shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Lead employee relations, investigations, corrective actions, and performance management.
Manage recruiting, onboarding, retention, and workforce planning for hourly and salaried employees.
Coach supervisors and managers on attendance, performance, employee relations, and HR policies.
Manage FMLA, ADA, workers compensation, unemployment, and leave administration.
Monitor turnover, attendance, staffing levels, and other key HR metrics.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and consistent application of company policies.
Partner with plant leadership on organizational changes, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
Maintain a visible, hands-on HR presence throughout the manufacturing operation.

Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or automotive.
Strong employee relations and investigation experience.
Experience supporting hourly manufacturing workforces and multi-shift operations.
Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Bachelors degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
Tier 1 automotive, injection molding, plastics, or assembly experience is strongly preferred.
