Job Description Job Description Staffing Coordinator ** DRiVE Staffing Solutions ** is seeking an organized, dependable, and people-focused Staffing Coordinator to manage recruiting and workforce support for our customer locations. This position is responsible for supporting temporary employees throughout the entire employment lifecycle—from recruiting and onboarding through placement, coaching, performance management, and separation. Key Responsibilities Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for temporary and contract positions Coordinate candidate selection and placement based on customer staffing needs Complete new-hire onboarding, employment documentation, background checks, and drug screening Communicate job assignments, schedules, policies, and workplace expectations to employees Maintain accurate employee records and staffing documentation Serve as a primary point of contact for temporary employees after placement Monitor employee attendance, performance, and workplace concerns Prepare, document, and deliver coaching and corrective-action forms Address attendance and performance issues professionally and consistently Coordinate employee terminations, assignment completions, and replacements Maintain documentation of employee conversations, coaching, disciplinary actions, and separations Communicate regularly with customer contacts regarding staffing levels, employee performance, and workforce needs Recruit replacement employees quickly when openings occur Qualifications Previous staffing, recruiting, HR, or employee-management experience preferred Experience supporting temporary, hourly, manufacturing, or high-volume workforces is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Comfortable providing employee coaching and handling difficult conversations Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-through Professional, dependable, and able to work independently Customer-service mindset with the ability to build relationships with both employees and customer contacts About DRiVE Staffing Solutions DRiVE Staffing Solutions connects qualified candidates with employment opportunities while providing hands‑on workforce support to our customers.
