About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to support a large-scale public health initiative focused on improving pediatric readiness among EMS providers, particularly in rural communities. This project helps emergency medical services better prepare for pediatric patient care through assessment, evaluation, and data-driven program improvements.

The Project Manager will serve as a key member of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining project momentum, coordinating stakeholders, managing project plans, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives. This role requires someone who can adapt quickly, manage competing priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, experience working with government or health-focused initiatives, and the ability to keep complex programs organized and moving forward. Experience within EMS environments or as a licensed paramedic is highly valued.

What You'll Do

Project Coordination & Execution

Provide structure, organization, and momentum for a critical public health initiative.

• Manage and maintain project plans and timelines.
• Coordinate project activities across cross-functional team members.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and support issue resolution.
• Ensure project deliverables remain on track and aligned with objectives.
• Facilitate project meetings and follow-up on action items.
• Support project documentation and reporting activities.

Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration

Build effective working relationships across project participants and stakeholders.

• Partner with program leadership and project team members to coordinate work efforts.
• Collaborate with government, healthcare, and EMS stakeholders as needed.
• Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and updates.
• Help align stakeholder expectations and priorities throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting, Measurement & Performance Tracking

Help ensure visibility into project performance and outcomes.

• Track project progress against established plans and milestones.
• Maintain project management tools and documentation.
• Support reporting efforts and performance measurement activities.
• Assist with data collection and evaluation activities related to project goals.

• Full-time contract opportunity.
• Local candidates preferred.
• Hybrid work arrangement available, with approximately two days per week onsite.
• Remote candidates may be considered if they bring significant relevant experience.
• Equipment will be provided by the employer.
