Veterinary Client Service Representative Pet Specialists of Austin: 3901 Guadalupe St, Austin, TX 78751 Schedule Full-time evening shift About You You are a compassionate and organized Veterinary Client Service Representative (CSR)/Veterinary Receptionist with strong customer service, front desk, and client communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced veterinary clinic or animal hospital. You're comfortable managing appointment scheduling, multi-line phones, check in/check out, payment processing, and practice management software while delivering an exceptional client experience. Your Experience & Skills Minimum of 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital, animal hospital, or related client service setting Strong customer service, communication, and conflict resolution skills Comfortable answering multi-line phones, scheduling appointments, checking clients in and out, and processing payments Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and practice management software preferred Positive, patient, and professional approach when supporting clients, pets, and team members Self-motivated team player with strong accountability and a willingness to learn Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required You're Willing and Able To Deliver exceptional customer service by attentively addressing the needs of clients and their pets. Answer phones, schedule appointments and specialty procedures, set reminders, manage patient and client flow, check patients in and out, and address basic client concerns. Facilitate clear communication between clients and the medical team as needed. Accurately enter and maintain client and patient information in the computer system, ensuring medical records are up to date. Process client payments and invoices, and follow up on outstanding or missing payments. Maintain a clean and organized lobby, waiting area, and workspace.
