Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Primary Care

Employee Health Clinic | Part-Time | $110/Hour

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to provide high-quality primary care services in an employee health clinic.

This position focuses exclusively on adult patients , with no pediatric responsibilities. The ideal candidate has a strong primary care background and is comfortable independently assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients in an outpatient setting.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 9:00 AM–1:00 PM

• 20 hours per week

• Pay: $110 per hour

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, medical histories, and physical examinations.

• Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, minor injuries, and common primary care conditions.

• Manage chronic health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies.

• Prescribe medications and treatments within your scope of practice.

• Provide preventive care, wellness screenings, and patient education.

• Counsel patients on medications, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices.

• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

What You Must Have

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license.

• Nurse Practitioners must have an adult-focused certification and scope of practice.

• Physician Assistants must be PA-C certified.

• Previous primary care experience is required.

• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.

• Experience managing acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Current prescriptive authority, as applicable.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently within established clinical protocols.
