Job Title: Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst Contract Duration: 1 year, possible extension Location: Santa Ana, CA Work Arrangement: Onsite Pay Range: $55-$60/hour Summary The Sr. Data & Reporting Analyst is responsible for all points of data mining, extraction, manipulation, analysis, and reporting. Accountable for developing and reporting daily, weekly and monthly analysis of key performance indicators related to warehouse operational metrics. This position requires an extremely detailed, timely, consistent and accurate approach to reporting. Having strong written and verbal communication skills are critical to succeed in this position. Reporting can also be used to set the priorities throughout the operations, ensuring that key issues are addressed. Daily/weekly briefings and communications are needed to ensure consistent information is shared throughout the operations. This position is a task-oriented role, requiring very good organizational skills and follow through. The position requires interaction with a broad number of employees to validate data and collaborate on discrepancies found. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the logistics warehouse and transportation operations & cost. In order to meet daily responsibilities, the candidate must be proficient with SAP, MS Excel, SQL, PowerPoint; and, must have experience developing dashboards using BI Tools. Required Knowledge, Education and Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments Experience in cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required Experience with SAP is required Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects Necessary Skills / Attributes Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills Strong data mining skills and experience extracting & manipulating data from multiple sources Critical thinking skills - analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving Strong math, communication, and organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment Strong verbal and written communications skills Ability to employ effective time management skills Independently follow and execute work assignmentsMust be able to work without supervision; self-starter Ability to interact with all levels of management including executives Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, and language barriers.
