Apply now for this great opportunity!Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician II or III (multi-craft maintenance/electro-mechanical)An Industrial Maintenance Technician level III consists of advanced level mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis skills including PLC troubleshooting skills with the ability to troubleshoot and read PLC ladder logic/diagrams (non-programming). Must be eligible to work in the United States. Sponsorship for immigration cases will not be considered.Pay (includes $1.50/hour for shift differential):Maintenance Tech 2: $30.05 – $38.60/hour plus overtimeMaintenance Tech 3: $34.55 – $44.40/hour plus overtime3rd Shift: 11pm – 7:30am, with the regular schedule as Monday through Friday with overtime as needed. Must also have flexibility to work a Sunday-Thursday schedule when required by operational needs.Summary: Oversees and performs the preventive and reactive maintenance duties required for the manufacturing operations of the plant. Priorities of the Maintenance Technician include management and execution of PM schedules, repair of any equipment that is needed to maintain maximum production rates and maintenance of an adequate spare parts inventory. This position requires the flexibility to work 40+ hours per week, weekends as required and fulfill on-call duties for repairs and assistance.Primary Job Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and perform repairs on machines and their controls (DC/AC motor & drives, downstream equipment, chillers & etc.)Maintain and build job skills through company training programsContact, specify, and order replacement parts & control components from supplier as neededEffectively contribute to CMMS performance through timely PM & Repair Work Order completion while ensuring compliance1st responder to troubleshooting machine problems, contact Electrical Engineering if additional support is neededSupport Daily Management directives and initiativesHelp develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to improve production efficiencies and SafetyWork with Production Staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipmentJob Skills:Proficient using Electrical Test equipment: Voltmeter, Ammeter, ohm meter, Megger & etc.Understanding basic machine function and Sequence Of Operations of production machineryProficient in reading Electrical, pneumatics and mechanical drawingsKnowledge of NEC, UL508A and NFPA 79 codesLock Out Tag Out Safety proceduresArc Flash and PPE RequirementsProficient in electrical formulas and mechanical mathKnowledge of 3 Phase Industrial wiring and power distributionAC, DC and Servo Drive / Motor experienceTroubleshoot PLC I/O and networkingMotion Training with Servo Drives and MotorsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordEducational & Preferred Experience:High School / Vocational School Diploma or Equivalent - RequiredTechnician level - Electrical, hydraulics, pneumatic – Preferred2-5+ years Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Systems and ControlsBasic PLC and Drive trainingPlastic process knowledge a plus
