What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients' functional status through formal and informal assessments.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with physician prescriptions.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and therapy rationale.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, aides, and students.
• Recommend adaptive/supportive equipment based on assessments.
• Document patient responses, treatment progress, and plan updates per regulatory standards.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and effective care during therapy sessions.
• Participate in team conferences, community education, and quality improvement initiatives.

What You Need

• Valid Michigan PT license
• Demonstrated evaluation and treatment skills for outpatient settings
• Strong communication skills in English
• Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally
