What You'll Do

Answer incoming calls and provide exceptional customer service to patients and physician offices Schedule office visits, procedures, and diagnostic appointments efficiently and accurately Educate patients regarding procedure preparations and appointment requirements Screen, document, and route calls and messages to the appropriate departments Verify insurance participation and update patient insurance information as needed Maintain accurate patient demographic information and records Communicate with physicians and clinical staff regarding scheduling preferences and requests Utilize EMR systems and office technology to support daily operations Prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and professionalism Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards

What We're Looking For

High School Diploma or equivalent required Basic knowledge of medical terminology required Medical office experience Previous patient scheduling experience preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to communicate effectively by phone and in writing Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong computer skills; EMR experience a plus Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening
