Respiratory Therapy Schedule: Nights, 12 hours, 36 hours per week

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Specific licenses and certifications as required for the role
• Relevant experience in respiratory therapy, particularly in critical care settings

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and implement respiratory care based on clinical protocols and guidelines.
• Deliver comprehensive patient care in complex, multi-problem situations, particularly in critical care areas.
• Conduct protocol ventilator management and engage in significant independent decision-making.
• Educate patients and their families/support systems regarding respiratory care and treatment plans.
• Coordinate care activities and participate in staff development and educational initiatives, including orientation of new employees.
• Address the biological, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs of patients and families in care delivery.
