Orthopedic Sales Representative (Dallas Area)

As a Sales Representative, you will strategically promote and sell Ovial’s Surgical Nutrition products to meet our customer’s needs. You will help introduce an entirely new category of orthopedic nutrition, build relationships with surgeons from the ground up, and play a direct role in the growth of a company changing preoperative care.

Travel up to 50% within designated local territory (Dallas Area).

\n

\n

What You Will Do

\n

\n

\n
• Build relationships with orthopedic surgeons, physician assistants, and clinical staff by delivering excellent service and building trusted partnerships.
\n
• Achieve and exceed sales targets by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
\n
• Provide comprehensive Ovial product knowledge and training to surgeons, physician assistance, and clinical staff.
\n
• Participate in and represent Ovial at industry events and conferences as required.
\n
• Serve as a trusted clinical resource for customers.
\n

What You Need

\n

\n

\n
• 1-5 years of experience working in an outside sales position (medical related fields preferred). 
\n
• A minimum education level of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent of five (5) years of commercial sales experience or medical field experience including operating room experience. 
\n
• Demonstrated skills in relationship building, customer service, and consultative selling to healthcare professionals.
\n
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex clinical concepts clearly.
\n
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive an automobile.
\n
• Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
\n

What We Offer

• $40,000 base salary and may be eligible to earn commission and/or bonuses + benefits.
\n
• This role may include equity as part of a long-term compensation package.
